I bet your client will rank high for that keyword phrase ---> who in their right mind searches for anything "plutonium" and includes the words "health diet" along with it... geez :)

Chris,

The content published by PageLime is just plain HTML, so search engines will treat it the same as if it was a part of the page. We do not use AJAX or IFRAMEs or any such trickery to load content in. The same goes with meta keywords, description, and page title.

How will search engines index pages I've edited with PageLime beyond the META title and description tags? I want to use PageLime for a client's website so she can very easily update and edit it. However she is very interested in moving up in the search engine results page for keywords about which she writes on the site. Say she adds a new article on a page about the importance of eating plutonium as part of a healthy diet. Once Google indexes the page on a non-PageLime site, I would imagine her page would come up pretty high in the search results for "plutonium healthy diet". Will the same happen for a PageLime edited site?

I'm really excited to try this out, but want to make sure the content of the page users see will be reflected in Google search results.

Thanks!

Hey Cindy, I just sent an email over to help figure out why the original meta tags were not pulling up.

I tried this yesterday, and it pulled up the page title from the page, but not the description or the keywords (that were already in the meta data).

I added them again. I'm guessing that this show over wrote my original meta tags.

I think it is good for our clients to be able to update these fields as they have a feel for how people are finding them.

Thanks!
